The Chateau on Butterfly Trail is a private 6-bedroom retreat on 8 peaceful acres in rural western Wisconsin, just outside Fountain City and minutes from Winona, MN. In addition to six comfortable bedrooms and spacious gathering areas, guests have access to a full kitchen located on the lower level of the home. The kitchen embraces the building’s historic roots and has a nostalgic community-hall or church-basement feel that many guests find charming and fitting with the character of the property. The Chateau offers comfort, space, and character rather than a luxury resort experience. While the bedrooms and bathrooms have been updated over time, many of the common spaces retain the original design elements and historic charm of the building, including portions of the original flooring and finishes. The Chateau is part of a 4-plex and is the middle unit, with no shared indoor spaces and private entry via SmartLock.
