4 Reviews on “Ponderosa Point Cottage”
We spent several wonderful days at Ponderosa Point. The cottage was comfortable, clean and peaceful. The area is lovely, just moments from Woodland Park and also very near to Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods.
We had a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb tucked away in the beautiful Colorado mountains just outside Colorado Springs. The space was spotless, cozy, and perfect for two people. The host was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The location was ideal—peaceful and private, yet still close to many attractions like Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and great hiking spots. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! We would absolutely recommend Ponderosa Point!
Quaint cottage with attentive host – though we did not have the privilege of face to face meeting – very clear communication about directions, parking, entry codes. We felt very welcome. Newly remodeled it felt both modern and woodsy in this idyllic setting inside and out. All new: frig, 2 burner stove top, coffee maker, micro, counter tops, bathroom with shower and toilet, cookware, even the towels and linens. Comfy big bed for two with cozy comforter. In an exception to the “cottage for 2”, our host kindly arranged for a bed on the floor for our son too. Good heating and ventilation made it comfortable for our spring time stay. Outdoor table with 4 chairs or inside table for 2, for morning coffee brewed right there. Coffee, filters, and condiments provided. Otherwise bring your own food. Large screen TV (which we didn’t use), plenty of available outlets and good wifi provided. Nestled among the beauty of the mountains and other cottages, it still felt very private as we enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation. To top it off – a garden flag with the Luther Rose welcomed us at the driveway – we knew we were at the right place.
Excellent location for heading up to Estes Park. Cottage is has beautiful views from the firepit area. Overall a 5 star experience!
